General notes
Absences
If your child will be absent from school for a whole day for any reason, please explain the reason via the school e-mail (petersham-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au).
If your child will be arriving late, please bring them to the Hunter Street gate and ring the doorbell so they can be let in.
If your child is being collected early from school, please email the school in advance and telephone 5 minutes before your arrival so we can organise for your child to come to the office. On arrival at the Hunter Street gate, please ring the doorbell and your child will be brought out to you at the gate.
If your child will be absent from school for an extended period of leave please complete the Application for Student Leave on the School Bytes portal via the link below

Administer prescribed medication
Prescribed medication is usually sent to the school daily. It must be in a container, preferably a pharmacy labelled container, detailing the student’s name and the prescribed dosage. Download the Permission to Administer Medication form.
